Booking Terms & Conditions
We want every Barrel & Bond Whisky Tasting experience to run smoothly and be enjoyable for everyone involved. The terms below help set clear expectations around bookings, payments, cancellations, and event arrangements. If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Booking Confirmation
Your booking will be confirmed once we have discussed your event requirements and a deposit has been received. Following confirmation, you will receive written confirmation of your whisky tasting experience, including the agreed details of your event.
Deposits & Payments
A deposit is required to secure your booking date. The remaining balance must be paid on the date of the event, with payment timelines confirmed during the booking process. If payment is delayed, Barrel & Bond reserves the right to postpone or cancel the booking until payment has been received.
Cancellations & Refunds
We understand that plans can sometimes change. If you need to cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations made well in advance may be eligible for a partial refund, while cancellations made closer to the event date may result in deposits or payments becoming non-refundable due to preparation, stock purchasing, and reserved time.
Rescheduling
Where possible, we will always do our best to accommodate changes to your event date. If sufficient notice is provided, bookings may be transferred to an alternative agreed date, subject to availability.
Guest Numbers & Event Changes
To ensure the best possible experience, final guest numbers and any key event details should be confirmed in advance of the tasting. Significant changes to guest numbers, venue location, or event timings may affect pricing or require adjustments to the session.
Venue Requirements
The host is responsible for ensuring a suitable space is available for the whisky tasting experience. We simply require enough room to comfortably host the session and access to the agreed event area. Any specific venue requirements can be discussed during the booking process.
Travel & UK-Wide Events
Barrel & Bond Whisky Tasting operates across England, Scotland, and Wales. Travel is discussed and agreed as part of the booking process, and for some locations additional travel or accommodation costs may apply. Any such costs will always be discussed in advance with complete transparency.
Responsible Drinking
Barrel & Bond promotes the responsible enjoyment of whisky and reserves the right to refuse service where behaviour becomes unsafe, inappropriate, or disruptive to the experience of others.
Food Pairings, Allergies & Dietary Requirements
Where food pairings are included, guests are responsible for informing us of any allergies or dietary requirements in advance. While every effort will be made to accommodate requirements, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Photography & Marketing
From time to time, photographs or videos from events may be used across our website and social media channels to showcase Barrel & Bond experiences. If you or your guests would prefer not to appear in marketing materials, please let us know before the event.
Unexpected Circumstances
In rare situations outside of our control, including severe weather, illness, venue issues, or other unforeseen circumstances, Barrel & Bond reserves the right to reschedule bookings where necessary. We will always work with you to find a fair and suitable solution.
